Ingredients

  • 1 9” inch store bought pie shell unbaked
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups pecans
  • ¾ cup pretzels
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest optional
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, butter, vanilla extract, brown sugar, orange zest, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add the pecans and pretzels and stir until they are fully combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the edges of the pie crust is golden brown and the pie is crispy on top.
  • Cool completely before slicing.
