- 1 9” inch store bought pie shell unbaked
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups pecans
- ¾ cup pretzels
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon grated orange zest optional
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 350℉.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, butter, vanilla extract, brown sugar, orange zest, cinnamon, and salt.
Add the pecans and pretzels and stir until they are fully combined.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the edges of the pie crust is golden brown and the pie is crispy on top.
Cool completely before slicing.
