Banana Blueberry Gooseberry Green Smoothie

This banana blueberry gooseberry green smoothie is a great way to start your day. If your New Year's resolution is to be healthier, make one of these green smoothies for breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup sliced banana approximately 1 banana
  • ½ cup gooseberries
  • 1 tablespoon flax seed
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon raw agave

Instructions

  • Add the milk, spinach, banana, blueberries, flax seed, almond butter and raw agave, in that order, to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth. Add ice to a large glass (optional) and pour the smoothie into glasses.

Notes

If you can't find gooseberries, substitute with an additional ½ cup of bananas.
